Former officer sentenced for drug possession and intent to distribute



Kenzie Meek-Beck 01/29/2015 A U.S. District Court judge sentenced former Walsenburg Police Officer, Gloria Evangeline Suazo of Pueblo, on January 23 to 5 years in federal prison for aiding in the possession of heroin with the intent to sell. The day after she plead guilty to these charges in October 2014, Suazo was also arrested in Pueblo for selling cocaine.
